Reunited Again

- One big family reunion – the Sabron family.
We had another round of family reunion last Sunday night. Matter of factly, it wasn’t for family reunion per se. Since Achik Seri will be going back to Australia to resume her PhD, a religious congregational prayer (or its well known term, doa selamat) was held for her safe academic venture abroad.
Again, Ustaz Subhan was invited to re-enlighten us on the sacred duties of a Muslim amongst other religious topics. He has somewhat become a de facto Imam in the family.
- Obedience (الإطاعة) to all rulings and commandments from Allah (subhaanahu wa ta’ala).

Repentance (التوبة) for all wrongdoings.

Strive/Struggle (المجاهدة) for the cause of Allah (subhaanahu wa ta’ala). Allah has mentioned in the Qur’an:
Meaning:
And those who strive in Our (cause), – We will certainly guide them to Our Paths: For verily Allah is with those who do right. (26:29)
May this little piece of advice bring good to all of us.
To Achik Seri, we pray for your successful pursuit in your PhD. May all that you learn be beneficial to you and the ummah. Amin.
